Apple Confirm the launch of iPad in nine countries
Apple announced that its popular latest tablet computers, iPad, will go on sale in nine countries outside of the United States, on May 28 this. IPad new markets will include Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and England.
The cheapest model will sell for 429 Pound sterling in England, the same version sold in the U.S. 499 dollars (337 pounds sterling).
Price differences in the two countries due to differences in the UK value added tax and sales tax in the U.S. The Price before tax for the same model in the UK only 37 pounds sterling (55 dollars) more.
This consumer gadget was launched in the U.S. on 3 April the U.S., but Apple’s delayed the launch for the international market.
Apple said that since introduced to the market, the device has sold one million units in the U.S.
In the UK reportedly will be sold at around 429 pounds sterling for the price of entry-level model, and 699 pounds sterling for a capacity of 64 giga byte of memory can also access the 3G wireless network (built-in). Consumers outside the U.S. can send pre-order device that started on May 10.
There are other companies, including Dell, Nokia, and Toshiba which plans to release a tablet computer this year. A competition for Apple.
